Even when she doesn't want anyone seeing her eyes . . .

Which is why she needed one then more than ever . . .

Lucky Pennie Designs

We are VERY excited to team up with Pennie Tapp and her "Lucky Pennie Designs" jewelry line for our shop. She has a knack for jewelry design and her pieces are very unique and stylish.

On her blog, Pennie says:
"I am a fun and outgoing mother of three. I needed a creative outlet, so I started designing jewelry. I came up with the name "Lucky Pennie Designs" because I consider myself to be a very lucky person. I am a three year survivor of breast cancer and I now consider every single day a gift. I am also lucky because I am surrounded by incredible people in my life. I enjoy making breast cancer awareness jewelry, as well as one of a kind designs. I hope you enjoy my creations!"

Pennie also donates a portion of all her jewelry proceeds to the Young Survivor Sisters, which is a local support group for younger women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Here is a sneak peak of some of her creations that are already available in Cupcake Fedora's Store, and we will be continually adding more all the time!

Gossip Girl Style

For those of you who caught Monday's Gossip Girl, did you notice what Hilary Duff was wearing through most of the episode?

A fedora!

And it is similar to the ones we are currently making for our boutique! Ours are even more unique than this one, and are being customized with vintage ties, buttons, feathers, and other accessories.

Duff debuted on the show as an actress named Olivia who recently enrolled at NYU in hopes of having a somewhat normal life, but instantly got tangled in the messy lives of all the other show's characters.

It seems as though Duff's character will be pretty regular, at least for awhile. She blends pretty well with the show.

Tyra Banks, on the other hand, gave a lackluster performance on the episode. Stick to what you do best Tyra - smiling with your eyes, molding young models, and coming up with outrageous ideas for your talk show.
